ALL POOL SAFETY CERTIFICATES
From $75 + $41 Govt. Certificate
If you are selling or leasing your home with a swimming pool you will require a pool safety certificate.
I come to you. I do the inspection and if the pool barrier is satisfactory I will provide you with a pool safety certificate
(From $75 + $41 for the certificate).
If there is any problem with the pool barrier I will give you suggestions on how to make the barrier comply. Once satisfactory a pool safety certificate will be issued.
Do you have a current (CPR Sign) Cardiopulmonary Resucitation sign Displayed in the Pool Are?
– If NO i can supply you with one on the day of Inspection For a small charge
Is your pool on the pool safety register
– If NO i can Register for you
Gate requirements
– Gate closes from any position into the lock position
– Gate swings away from the pool
– If the Gate latch is fitted to the outside of the gate, it has to be a minimum of 1-5 meters from the ground up
– If the Gate latch is fitted to the inside of the gate, it has to be at least a minimum of 150 mm below the top of the gate. Shielding is required.
Pool Barrier requirements
– All vertical rails are less than 100mm apart
– Under the barrier is no more than 100mm to the ground level
– The pool barrier has no climbable objects within 900mm.
example: TREES, FURNITURE, ROCKS
– All pool fencing is at least 1200mm from the ground up

A pool safety certificate can also be supplied if pool barrier complies
(Govt. fee $41).
The objective of this standard is to assist pool Owners/Users in avoiding pool-related drowning by providing for the design, construction, and performance of various barrier options, which are designed to deny, delay or detect unsupervised entry of the swimming pool area by young children.
